A fantastic double bill of international music.

Dàimh
Now officially a six piece, the charging pipe and fiddle led assault that has seen the ‘Pirates of Puirt’ rocking far and wide is now joined by the stunning vocals of Calum Alex MacMillan from Lewis adding the depth and power of Gaelic song to an already phenomenal instrumental arsenal.

Dàimh (Gaelic for kinship) bring together Aonghas MacKenzie (Cape Breton) on Pipes, Gabe McVarish (California) on fiddle, Colm O’Rua (Ireland) on banjo/mandola and a Highland rhythm section of James Bremner on bodhran and guitarist Ross Martin in a glorious musical celebration of their common ground.

'One of the fieriest bands on the traditional scene today '- Sue Wilson, the Scotsman
